Conservation and restoration of antique furniture, panel paintings and other wooden objects; We fix damaged caning and rushed seats, and upholstery with traditional and modern stuffing cushioning. Wood carving and wood turning are also services provided by the studio.

Established in 2010.
Miguel Garcia, the owner and worker, is a furniture conservator graduated in Portugal in 2001. We worked in collaborarion with several Museums in Portugal, and more recently, with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in NY.

Working in Furniture Conservation and Restoration for 20 years. Started studies in conservation in Portugal in 1993 on a vocational school dedicated to restoration of works of art, and continued up to Masters in Art Conservation taken in Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2001.
Worked in some Portuguese Museums and private collections, and now recently in a few projects with the Mettropolitan Museum of Art, N.Y., as Associate Conservator, working on gilt surfaces.
