Christmas Cottage

The Christmas Cottage is a family-owned business, which began in 1985 and is famous for being one of the oldest Christmas Stores in New York City!   The Christmas Cottage started business as a temporary store open during the Christmas Holiday Season with several locations on Madison Avenue, Fifth Avenue and in the heart of the Channel Garden in Rockefeller Center.  Since 1997, The Christmas Cottage has had a year-round location on 7th Avenue at the Wellington Hotel. Closing with the pandemic and the sale of the hotel we are happy to announce our new permanent shop at 833 7th avenue between 53rd and 54th street.   Next door to Rays pizzeria and just blocks from Times Square, Carnegie Hall, Broadway Theatre District, Central Park, Fifth Avenue and Central Park!  

With over 30 years of experience in the Christmas and Holiday Market, we have established such a wonderful customer base starting from our New York City clientele to the many tourists from the United States and the extensive Customers from all over the World.   We have many customers coming back year after year to explore our shop filled with ornaments and Seasonal Decor! We are the oldest Christmas and New York City souvenir shop in Manhattan.  You can find anything relating to Christmas or any other Holiday Season all year long in our store.  And don’t forget we are home of the popular friendship doves!!

The Christmas Cottage has strived to keep our store quaint and small yet we are chock full of ornaments, lights, snow globes, santas, snowmen, Byers’ Choice, Radko, Polonaise, nyc souvenirs and gifts.  The Christmas Cottage has been famous for our beautiful displays and fully decorated themed trees!
