It all started back in 1978, when Eleanor Mckenna and the late Pat McKenna laid the foundation for a small brokerage by renting out a space on Marlton’s Main Street. Residing in the Brush Hollow neighborhood with their three sons – Pat, John, and Mark – the family embarked on this venture together. Tragically, less than a decade after the company’s inception, Pat passed away in 1984, leaving Eleanor widowed with the responsibility of raising their three sons and keeping the business afloat. Eleanor then immersed herself in the business.

Years passed by and in 1980, Pat McKenna Realtors opened its doors to their very own commercial building in the heart of Marlton on Main Street. Eleanor was one of the few women in the real estate industry, achieving success significant enough to fund the college education of her three sons. Mark, the youngest among her children, finished college in 1993 and plunged right into the real estate industry, carrying on the professional legacy established by his parents.

Flash forward to the present day, at the age of 84, Eleanor can still be found in the office at 63 E Main Street actively selling real estate. She has developed the once quaint Pat Mckenna Realtor cape cod into a three-story brick building, comprised of 23 apartments and the real estate office. Three generations later, Mark’s son, Patrick, is now actively learning the business after graduating from Tampa University. Eleanor, Mark and Patrick plan to uphold the same values that Pat McKenna once established.

After 46 years, a single family has significantly influenced the real estate landscape all over South Jersey. The once small Pat McKenna Realtors company has transformed into a largely known team of over 70 agents, including 7 salaried employees. PMR currently operates from offices located in Marlton, Maple Shade, and coming very soon, Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Their continuous expansion and exceptional performance have positioned them as one of the leading EXP teams nationwide. Five decades ago, it is unlikely that anyone could have foreseen the remarkable growth of this brand.
