History
Established in 1985.
Dan started Dan Higgins Wood Flooring 30 years ago. Dan’s model was to create an installation company that does excellent work, on schedule, and responds to customer’s needs quickly. We have grown to 25 full-time well-trained, professional employees. The company has evolved to having two showrooms displaying thousands of products, selling to the general public and contractors, as well as providing quality professional installations. We have differed from the typical stores, opening showrooms in low-rent buildings and minimizing our margins on products so that instead of hardwood flooring being a luxury item, it has become the most affordable long-term solution for floor coverings in your home. Dan finds that the best way to take care of your customer is to take care of your employees. Dan donates at least 10% of profits, along with a good bit of his time, to local charities, churches and educational programs.
